01Overview
Craise is a no-lock-in software subscription. You can cancel whenever you like, and you'll never be charged again after the period you're in. This policy explains exactly how to cancel, when it takes effect, what happens to your data, and how cancellation relates to refunds.
It applies to all paid Craise plans and add-ons, alongside our Terms of Use and Refunds & Cancellation policy. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay (in India) and our card processor (internationally).
02How to cancel
- In your workspace, go to Settings → Billing and choose Cancel plan. You'll see an on-screen confirmation and receive a confirmation email; or
- Email info@craise.ai from your account email and we'll cancel for you within one business day.
That's it — there's nothing else you need to do, and no one you need to speak to.
03When cancellation takes effect
- Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing cycle — you keep everything you've paid for, right to the last day.
- At the end of that cycle your workspace moves to the free plan. We do not charge you again.
- Cancelling mid-cycle does not cut your access off early; you simply won't renew.

04Free plan & trial
Craise is free to start — you can build and publish without paying, so there's nothing to cancel unless you've upgraded. Where a free trial is offered, you won't be charged until the trial ends; cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing, and your workspace simply continues on the free plan.
05Auto-renewal & reminders
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each cycle so your memos never go dark, and we email a receipt on every charge.
- Cancelling (section 02) is the single switch that turns auto-renewal off.
- If we ever change pricing, we'll give you 30 days' notice by email so you can cancel before the new price applies.
06Your data after cancelling
- Your memos, uploads and data stay accessible on the free plan after cancellation — nothing is deleted just because you cancelled.
- You can export your data at any time.
- If you choose to delete your account entirely, we remove your content in line with the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.
07Cancellation & refunds
Cancelling stops future charges — it doesn't refund the cycle you're already in.
- Your 14-day free trial is the risk-free window — cancel before it ends and you're never charged. There's no separate money-back guarantee because you can try everything for free first.
- Once a paid monthly cycle has started it's non-refundable; you keep access to the end of that cycle and won't be billed again.
- Genuine exceptions — duplicate or erroneous charges, or a material service failure on our side — are always refunded, typically within 5–7 business days.
